Has anybody ever had a room next to the elevator on a cruise ship? - front parts of a ship diagram
My husband and I booked cruise on the Norwegian Sky in December. From now on, our room with the elevator in the vicinity of the bow and one of the lower decks. We talk about the change our room because of the difficulty of the lift can be. I also had the disease, the best choice is to stay on a lower floor, which on a higher floor. What do you think?

Cabins best to minimize the movement, if you are prone to seasickness low and the middle part, and also an outdoor terrace, where the sea so his selection makes him look half way to solve - a problem.
ReplyDeleteI still have a cabin on the bay near an elevator, but it is because it saves a lot to go. The problem of the elevator car is not the sound of the elevator, but the people of noise when people come and go at any time of day and night, the exercise of the talks, as they are in the bay lift.
My suggestion is that if you have the opportunity at this time that his taxi at least a few classes from the elevator bay.
Frankly, when I began my journey, I was worried how he feel (sick), but they would not know we were in the water and not even the boat starts to move and up to the dock, we learned something over the intercom .
ReplyDeleteI do not know if the elevator. I can not imagine the lift is strong, the people just back and forth all night. But who is asleep during a cruise? Stay up all night and you say the party.
I like it in the elevator. The boats are too big now and future generations and is easier to navigate if you are in an elevator. I've never heard the noise. It is more preferred elevators amidships instead of lifting the front or back. If more central part is less rock and half at each end.
ReplyDeleteI stood by the elevators, which are often on cruise ships, and really, not so loud at night, especially up front. Noise is really in the middle.
ReplyDeleteIf you become ill, the best place is in the lower decks. I did not get seasick on cruises, but my legs feel very insecure (rare, because most of the time that you do not even feel the boat moving).
Apart from the noise of people around the elevator, the place you have a lot of noise in the early hours of the anchor before getting up and going. At least try to before and if possible to escape, at least 3 gondolas.
ReplyDeleteBooth # 6268 in the triumph of the carnival is also near the lift, which can be achieved. We loved it and prefer. I would stay away from the Arc concrened Tho, if your sound. You do not miss the anchor safely.
ReplyDeleteWe perfer to the upper deck in the midship. We lived near the lifts in the past, and heard no noise. Most people walking Arent cries and screams.
ReplyDeleteThe lower deck of the slightest movement, also applies to the ship about half of the possible - Elevator = loud
ReplyDeleteI remain close to the lift would be the worst place in the boat. Fast!
